Finish saws

The saw feed conveyor takes over the profile batches from the belt system by means of a lifting and lowering device. Then the profiles are transported on the saw feed conveyor to the finish saw. The batches are positioned and afterwards fixed by inner and outer holding-down devices in the area of the finish saw.

By driven rollers the profiles are transported against a positionable saw stop. The rollers of all conveyors are machined so that utmost concentricity tolerances can be guaranteed. Using rollers in the area of the finish saw which are driven separately before and after the saw blade it is possible to remove short scrap without operators. Positioning of the cut profiles for cross transport into the stacker area is done by a hodometry system.
