Profile cooling

Cooling devices are located in the press axis, starting directly behind the platen of the press. The adjustment parameters of all cooling devices of an extrusion line can be saved in relation to the die number and therefore are completely reproducible.

While extruding, the cooling hoods turn automatically relative to the puller position. For intensive cooling a combined water, water mist as well as air-cooling-system is located directly behind the press. Air and water nozzles are integrated parts of the lead out table directly behind the press. The hoods of the air-cooling are equipped with flat nozzles at the side and at the top. A separate air stream control from all sides is possible. The cooling air is supplied from radial fans via air ducts. The flat nozzles for air-cooling are integrated parts of the run out conveyor.

In the area of the cooling bed there are several rows of axial fans. They are divided into groups and are activated automatically in accordance with the extrusion length.
