Exact temperature control - every time
To support the process for extrusion excellence, a high level of temperature control is needed. The IUT die heater program enables a minimum of scrap percentage as well as a longer die life - these parameters support the production process and a higher press speed. All ovens can be integrated into automatic handling systems up to the press.
The IUT die heater program includes:

- Type S3 - Fully automated handling
The multi-chamber vertical die oven type S3 with an integrated transport trolley. This die oven solution handles single die pallets with an automatic delivery of th hot dies close to the press. The die oven type S3 can easily be combined with an overhead conveyor system.
Full flexibility
With the buffer station for loading/unloading of dies the die heating system S3 supports full flexibility in the production.
Option: Inert atmosphere and/or automated die buffer system.
Type R1 - Semi automated handling
Multi-chamber vertical die oven type R1. Individual load/unload from each chamber. Individual loading/unloading side-ways. Manual or automatic control.

- Die oven type F - Manual handling
The IUT manual die oven handling system. The solution supports the combination with an overhead conveyor system.

The IUT manual die oven solution is designed to avoid the drawbacks from radiant heaters (e.g. hot spots) and convection heat often combined with traditional manual for a safe and proven die handling.
To minimize cold radiation from new dies, a single chamber has to be completely emptied before new tools are loaded into the same chamber.
