Roller hearth furnaces for coils

For the intermediate annealing and subsequent cooling of coils OTTO JUNKER supplies roller hearth furnaces and chamber-type furnaces.

Custom-designed jet heating systems provide controlled application of the atmosphere to the strip coil faces at high velocities. This ensures short heat-up and cooling cycles and uniform temperature distribution without hot spots. These furnaces are known for small floor space requirements, high flexibility and low investment and running costs.

High convection technology is a key factor in design of OTTO JUNKER furnaces and cooling zones. Specifically developed flow circuitry and fans guarantee high heat transfer coefficients and uniform distribution of the circulation air or protective atmosphere. OTTO JUNKER heating systems are characterized by high efficiency, low emission and long life. Heat transmission to the furnace atmosphere is uniform without “cold” currents.
